Does this count as a new Maretu song? Ado x MARETU’s collaboration song “RuLe”!
I really wanted to make a Maretu tuning-esc cover of the song as soon as I could so once getting the the VSQX, I speedran tuning in a single day- so guess this is Maretu Tuning Practice?
Still isn’t 100% but I really tried to envision how Maretu would tune certain parts since it is his own instrumental and lyrics! This one was really fun to work on :) I’ll have my cover of Binomi out soon hopefully as well!

Surprise! I had random cover coming out! I’ve somehow kept this recover hidden for a while. I’ve worked on it the past few months to have it out the day my first cover of Mind Brand hit 3 years old! (It’s a day late but same shit-)
It’s hard to believe it’s already been 3 years since I started using vocaloid, I’ve learned and grown a lot and I’m always thankful for all of you supporting me thus far! It really means a lot knowing my passion can interest others :)
To celebrate the occasion, I covered Mind Brand again since it was the first cover I ever made! I definitely think my tuning improved a lot since then and I hope you notice that too! I also re-edited a bit of the lyrics to match the flow of the original song better!

•1:07 as mentioned by @moemoethecoolest thisphrase can be referencing the idiom “neko ni koban” meaning “to give a cat a gold coin”. Going along with the themes of the song, this likely in of itself is an innuendo

Edit: Ive gotten a lot of comments about why I chose the image to be an underwear/reference masturbation so I thought I’d explain! I chose to make it that way to reference NEET culture as a whole. A part of NEET living surrounds the “shut in” lifestyle so many people who are trapped in that habitual routine often have trouble finding work, money, and/or love. Masturbation ends up being their way of dealing with the stress and depression that surrounds that life. That and of course lacking in actual physical intimacy with someone else. Thus, it’s a literal and metaphorical meaning in regards to the NEET life which is what the song discusses! Additionally, it’s to reference the original PV as it used art depicting Miku in her underwear

My first song using my boy Ken! Honestly, Vocaloid5 Standard vocals are so underrated, they can be beautiful if tuned correctly, more people should use them!
Anyway, I remember reading a comment on my Talkloid about how Ken’s english was very cute so it inspired me to make him sing an English song. I was originally gonna make this cover with Fukase I think but I found the hidden gem of Ken singing this song so I had to 👀

Aside from that, I saw no one has made a English cover of this song so I deliver! I honestly forget just how sad and relatable the lyrics to Eraser Girl are. Really makes me appreciate the song more. The dual vocal part killed me tho. I know it’s hard to understand them there but my god was it hard to find words/phrases that rhymed yet also fit the original meaning of the song. Lmk if you can do it any better!
