More than 1500 soldiers from Brisbane’s 7th Brigade, together with force elements from the British Army, New Zealand Army, Republic of Fiji Armed Forces, and His Majesty’s Armed Forces (Tonga) participated in the South Queensland Warfighter Exercise from 21 June – 03 July 2025.
The exercise rehearsed the ADF’s readiness to defend Australia and its interests, showcased Army’s transformation to an integrated and focused force, enhanced Army’s long-standing and persistent partnerships and interoperability with partner-nation forces, and demonstrated the role of land power in the strategy of denial.
The Warfighter exercise is an example of large-scale Advanced Collective Training sponsored by Army’s Land Domain Training System (LDTS)
