In this video we give you an overview over the part screening process at Additive Manufacturing (AM) and will explain especially the first assessment, the high-level suitability, in more detail.

1.) Starting with the high-level suitability assessment and then further investigate in potential applications at a more detailed level. It is important to check the technical and evaluate the economic fit of an application:
• Develop a scorecard: Overview of all the essential criteria from the technical and economic fit
2.) In the development phase, the detailed evaluation, it is part to consider a redesign and creating a cooperating business case.
3.) For the part production, it is essential to build a prototype and decide if it has potential for serial application.
