#abandoned church no longer in use I found on my travels.
Since it is Good Friday here (Happy Easter everyone) I thought it a good choice to upload today as a sign of respect for a time gone by when these little country churches were once an important part of a towns community and would have been a hive of activity in preparation for the Easter weekend ahead but now so many just sit empty and abandoned in their dust covered silence a lonely figure of what once was.
I am sorry for my ignorance in things churchy as I said a few times in the video, I mean no disrespect to anyone's beliefs.
I enjoyed exploring this place and just the smell alone when I walked in of aged wood and dust was somewhat comforting, I dunno why but I love that smell. I do hope that one day some people will put some love back into the place but as with so many historically significant buildings here in Australia I doubt it will happen and this place will end up termite ridden and end up falling down but maybe someone will buy it . Who knows.
