I found this abandoned resort while on holidays recently in Queensland Australia. The place is huge and very old school and looks very 70's but I love it.
The resort was right in the middle of town and wasn't fenced so I got to just walk straight in and luckily there wasn't a great deal of vandalism. The architecture of the buildings is very impressive and the poles are huge, they definitely thought about the cyclones when building. I stayed at the resort way back in the late 80's and loved it then and still love it. It would be a shame to have it all knocked down but I wouldn't be surprised because a developer would make more money from a high rise apartment building. The place has a wonderful relaxed vibe that I really like. It would have been very large with a lot of holidaymakers in it's hay day so come with me and have a look around.
