This house holds more than history—it holds family. Tucked away in rural Georgia, this 140-year-old abandoned farmhouse once echoed with the voices of generations past. My grandmother lived here in the 1940s, and today, I return to explore the home she once knew.
The house is a time capsule—still filled with antiques, church pews, and even a table used during Jimmy Carter’s campaign for President in Plains, Georgia. While the structure is fading into the woods, the story inside still speaks loudly.
