Every artist needs a canvas. This artist needs a rear sub-frame to start assembling the drive-train and axillary components. This video introduces the tube sub-frame that will act as the structure of the Arete supercar from the firewall back. Our 1JZgte power plant fits nicely in its new home, where engine mounts and brackets have been fabricated to hold everything in place. With the sub-frame welded and the engine trial fit, we can now start to add components like the turbo chargers, exhaust system, electrical, fuel supply and the attachment points for the suspension. This video will also give you a good idea of how some of the drive-train components are laid out for our all-wheel-drive system.
