Join us on a rugged, honest road-trip down Highway 40 from Highway 16 (near Hinton) to Robb, Alberta — a journey of wide skies, burned and green forests, river crossings, and things only seen from the side of the road. My wife Nikeeya (a Treaty-holder) and I mix travel with purpose: along the way we film the landscape, local wildlife, and a few respectful harvesting moments that illustrate how Indigenous people traditionally combine travel with taking from the land. Expect drone shots, hunting sequences (handled with care and respect), and the small moments that make northern travel real, like stopping roadside to make coffee.
