Recipes:
My Ice Cream Base:
1 quart heavy cream
3/4 cup maple syrup (or sugar)
10 egg yolks
dash of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
Heat the cream and maple syrup until hot (do not boil). Slowly temper in the eggs and take off heat. Stir in salt and vanilla. Cool completely, then churn in your ice cream freezer.
