So, today we are out and about walking in the Cotswold village and civil parish of Windrush which is located about 5 miles southeast of Northleach in Gloucestershire, England.
The village gets it name from the River Windrush, upon which the village lies. Originally the village was named as Wenric in the Domesday Book of 1086. The village church is dedicated to St. Peter.
Almost at the end of the video I developed a persistent cough, so I had to make a jump cut to the outro, fortunately the last house of interest had been filmed. I was in two minds as to film in this village or not as it suffers heavily from PCS (Parked Cars Syndrome, a side effect of modern day living!) but then thought it would be a shame to not document the beautiful traditional Cotswold architecture that the village has in it, so I then tried to film the village whilst keeping the parked vehicles out of view as much as possible which was no easy feat! Also you may wonder why some vehicle Reg Plates are blurred out and some are not, this is because I now blur out only the plates which I deem to be on private property and not on the public highway. Even just doing this is very labour intensive & time consuming.
There are no hidden OAAW logos within this video.
