I’m pretty much always in the mood for a banana cocktail, and with the holidays approaching, the Banana Cow hits the spot perfectly. It’s kind of a banana eggnog without the egg, but no less indulgent.

It was first created by tiki legend Trader Vic. His original recipe calls for a ripe banana, which gives the cocktail a beautiful, even creamier texture. That said, I really love using banana liqueur instead. I first saw it done that way when Leandro from @TheEducatedBarfly shared it on his channel, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Here’s the Banana Cow recipe:
• 3 oz whole milk
• 1.5 oz Barbados rum
• 0.5 oz banana liqueur
• 0.25 oz vanilla syrup
• 1 dash Angostura bitters
• Freshly grated nutmeg, for garnish
Cheers !
