Tequila belongs in more classics than people think.
The Alaska is a gin drink by definition but when you use an exceptional Blanco tequila in its place, the drink transforms. It’s brighter, more expressive, and the agave character adds a depth gin can’t touch.
This only works with real tequila. 100% agave, no additives, no shortcuts. Don’t let marketing decide what you drink.
I also add a touch of Fino Sherry to keep the sweetness of the Chartreuse in check, and two dashes of orange bitters to bring balance.
Shout out to my friend @stevethebartender for creating a fantastic line of bitters, they’re excellent. use my promo code TOTR10 on his website if you want to save 10%
