Oki so!! The inspo for this came to me yesterday evening after being reminded by ED 4 of HXH 2011 from an instagram post, and then looking it up and thinking, ''man, these clips would make a nice edit'' and then this was the first song that popped into my head when thinking of such an edit owo thus!!! here we are :3
I've actually wanted to edit with this song on multiple occasions but never did so bc I quickly lost inspo or felt like I couldn't make smth as good as the other edits I've seen with this song ^^''
However! This time I got really into the zone, and all was oki, while editing :3
I really really wanna say!! That I have basically fallen in love with this kind of editing style now! :3 Two evenings ago I got inspired to make like a creepy photo edit and add lots of colors, shading, and ''textures'' to the skin, and I did that, and while I was shocked that I even made something like that - yesterday I had learned about frame by frame animation in class!! I instantly loved what we were doing bc it felt similar to the drawing I did the other evening, and had loads of fun making my example video ^w^ And then, yesterday evening, I made a batch of 4 photo edits, 3 of them were creepy and after which I understood that I need to take a break from that editing style, and then I made a cute edit to make myself feel better and I also incorporated drawing and shading into it ^w^ I don't have a drawing tablet, so I'm left with drawing with a mouse, but if I get into the zone, it nearly feels like I'm using a pen with how smoothly things go :3 And then!!! came this idea after remembering about the ED like I mentioned ^^
I got to editing this around midnight last night, and it took me 2 hours to make the animations :3 I set the clips and audio, did the first couple zooms and slides, and of course did the animations in ae. Drawing these was very fun, but I sort of ran out of ideas towards the end of the loop owo'' I was so tired by the time I had to rewrite ''to eternal bliss'' over and over, and my handwriting got terrible XDD
I originally wanted my watermark to be in my usual arial font, but since everything else was hand-drawn/handwritten, I decided to write my watermark ^w^
I set down the video roughly in Vegas then, and I got back to this, this morning ^^ I ended up fixing my animations a little, wrote my watermark, and then got to editing this in Vegas :3 A part of it just involved copying and pasting event attributes owo
It's kinda hard to see the ''ripple/wave'' thingies I did at around 0 : 12 bc of the brightness, but oh well owo
Oooh also, yay, another 60 fps video owo :3
Ah also, I wanna mention that I'm feeling better since posting my previous edit owo
I find it kinda interesting that this thumbnail ended up having a faint image of Gon and Killua in it that is like, the opposite of their pose in the thumbnail of my ''falling in love'' edit owo there, they were facing each other, but here, they're turning away from each other owo
Oh and I suppose I made this as kinda like Killua @ Gon, and made my animations resemble that idea owo
I'm veeeerrryy happy with the result of this!! this was so cool and fun to make, and i really hope that y'all will enjoy this as much as I had fun making it :3 I wish you a good day/night, as well! c:

Just a very simple Twixtor and smoothness test! ^^
I really really wanna mention that is stroooongly inspried by one of Tumblr users darkvalkyrias gifsets of Judai!! :3
I didnt add everything that would fit the music, like all of the flickers, for two reasons - I wanted the Twixtor to stay clean enough and noticeable, and I also didnt want to repeat what I had to do for the first time I edited with this song XD
This time around I slowed the song down and added more sound effects, oh and this time, all of this was done in AE ^^
My only little gripe would be that I couldve made the shakes a little more intense, or longer ^^ Oh well ^^
And I kinda wish the quality wouldve been a bit better. It looked fine in AE but I wasnt making this at the full preview setting, so I guess I was just left to hope that it would look fine ^^ But after it finished rendering I thought like whats up with the clustered pixels XD
However! There were some??? Problems??? Again?? with AE XD
Well this time around there were more like problems with AE not responding. Like what is that XD This project, made my laptop struggle just a little, and Im surprised XD
I kinda wanted to use other scenes as well, not from the same area as this one, but I wanted to keep the red aesthetic going, so I had to work with what I had ^^
IIII also succeeded at looping this three times without AE giving me problems during rendering, which is good OWO
However, I did render this through AE and not Media Encoder from the start, so maybe that was why ^^
Aaand this took 38 minutes or 39 minutes to render ^^
But yeah, despite some problems and the result looking kinda eh, it was fun to make :3
I was really happy to edit with Yugioh and Judai again, actually ^w^
As of yesterday Ive been in a GX mood x3

So so!! Here you have my editing evolution! :3
I started doing this mostly bc i thought itd be fun, and also bc i realized that ive been editing for, 10 years now! I kept this in my drafts for a while so by this point it must be 10 years, as i believe i started editing anywhere from August 11th-14th. So out of nostalgia and whatnot, i wanted to try this c:
I already mentioned most of what i wanted to say in the video! Although, small correction - i used to use either WMM 2.1 or 2.6, i dont remember the exact version number, but it was one of those, most likely.
Another random fact: I started making my videos shorter when i got my first laptop, as the laptop legit overheated and turned itself off when rendering (that went on for quite some time). It was a tiring process to have to deal with, and so i made my edits shorter. However, by extension, that also made me lose ideas for longer edits with time ^^
I hope to not do too many compilations like this one (it worries me a little). I do have one smaller compilation that i may or may not make public, though. Im not sure if i will or wont upload another unfinished video dump when i make another one, bc the last one, which i wont upload, turned out to be too long with too many different songs in it ^^
A thank you to everyone who watches my stuff and also to those who stick around, and have continued to support me through the years ^w^ I really appreciate it, yall x3

This is a project that I came back to whenever I felt hurt by my family, my friends, my own thoughts, or life in general.
I began making this in...either late September, or late October of last year. So there is a years worth of depression shoved into this video.
I finished this and am currently uploading this when I feel not-so-good to keep it consistent.
So, I got accepted into the art school I wanted to go to. And maybe Im lucky that I got accepted, bc its a prestige school thats hard to get into. But now...I feel like a bit of a bad package came with all of this.
I was so damn excited to come here, I was excited to finally learn more about the thing I would wanna make a career out of, which is well, graphic design, video editing.
But today I learned some new things. I got our schedule, and I learned that the lessons start at 8:30 AM, sometimes a bit later, and can end as late as 7 PM. I need at least an hour or so to get home, so if Im home really late, and I then would need time for homework, time to do daily stuff. Id have only 3 hours of time to myself. I wouldnt really have time to do what I feel like doing, let alone hobbies. Ive now decided that I will try to wake up at around 5-6 AM to compensate for that, and also do my homework then, but at this rate, with only one 50 minute break between all of this, I feel like school may run a big part of my life now. Another fact is that at this school, getting sick is more of a curse than a blessing. If you are sick, you cannot come back and simply catch up with what others did. You have to retake all of the same tests they did, do the same contest work, and nearly all of the stuff this school provides, whether contests, tests, are mandatory. Its all very strict, and could take up a lot of my time. Im really sorry if I wont be able to edit for a while, but Ill try to finish up what I need to, and do the important things I need to for editing when I can.")

Im feeling pretty happy with this one!
I was inspired by an edit by an instagram editor, scrqeem, and I decided to make my video have more of a focus on comfort characters ^^ Killua is one of my comfort characters now, (though I cant think of any other major ones atm) so I chose him ^^
Havent finished an AE edit in a really long time!! AEs been giving me some trouble regarding lag, and it just didnt feel very nice to use it, so I didnt, for a while. But I decided to break it out for this, and thankfully, pretty much everything went smoothly ^^
I wanted to make some parts a little smoother, but oh well. It felt a little hard to make some effects go precisely to the beat at points, too XD
But I suppose my main gripe is that, for some reason, the audio is especially quiet at the very start and very end. I didnt want to trim the video and potentially reduce its quality though.
I decided to make the main shakes, tilts, and the position movements in a combination of s_blurmocurves and a camera ^^ I realized I had forgotten about null object as I was editing the camera. Decided to not replace it tho. I realized that I forgot about it when I realized that i couldnt scale the whole video with the camera kajdhasjdha
And I also decided to make this a looping edit because why not.
Im glad that I felt enough motivation and inspiration to finish this in one evening tho ^^ Have been having trouble with finishing video edits lately.
Ah, I also recently-ish finished watching hxh!!! ^^ Dont feel quite ready to write my full thoughts on it here, but I did really enjoy the whole experience and Imma watch the movies and ovas, perhaps even the 1999 version, whenever Im ready ^^
Oh also also!! While making this, I accidentally (bc i mis-pressed) found a keyboard shortcut in ae that feels like p much a lifesaver for me!! Im leaving this here as a mental note for myself mostly, but whoever else finds this useful and doesnt know this can look into this too ^^ If you select a layer in the timeline and press the [ key on your keyboard, the clip/content on the layer automatically aligns/snaps to where your scrubber bar is!! Dudes, I used to literally click and drag AAALLL of my clips, which were cut even like 10+ minutes away from the 20+ second audio that ive set for the edit, and it was so tiring, but Im so glad that a thing like this exists!! Saves me so much time and i have no need to desperately drag the clips to the left constantly!!! You can even select multiple layers and use it and the same thing applies to everything youve selected!!!
