Day 24
The elder's grandson took me to meet him. The elder is an old goron but he's still got that toughness. He wasn't too pleased to see me, but softened when his grandson explained that I was the one who opened the path into the village.
The elder was grateful to me. I asked the elder where I could find the Fire Sanctuary. The elder told me this was a well kept secret, but since I was restoring the Spirit Tracks, he understood the situation was dire. He led me to a cave that led straight to the Fire Sanctuary.
The cave had monsters in it, but that wasn't the worst part. After the cave was a huge mountain path that had MORE monsters! There were these strange plants with horrifying jaws that spat fire. I barely managed not to get snatched by them.
Eventually, the monsters disappeared at the end of the path. There were a lot of those head statues around. Most of them were looking in the middle. Zelda saw the tablet that had the riddle. It was an interesting riddle. It said that there's a light between two friends. I managed to find it with help from the riddle and played the Song of Light. The door opened.
The lokomo, Embrose, was inside. He looked a little scary, but he was very happy to see us. He had been expecting us and was ready to help me restore the Spirit Tracks to the Fire Temple. He pulled out a set of drums and taught me my part. It was a little difficult, but Embrose was patient with me.
With his help, I was able to get the song down. It was very beautiful but also had the power of a volcano. Embrose told us to be careful as the path to the Fire Temple was filled with danger.
We went back to the goron elder and he was glad to hear that we succeeded. However, he told us that the temple is locked. Three keys were stolen by monsters. The villagers told me how I can beat the monsters. They're fast when they're running away, but they hate loud noises. I wonder if my train whistle can help.
Also, I noticed that one goron's house was still blocked off by lava. Poor guy. I should give him a hand.
