Let me help you better understand how your nervous system processes and holds onto trauma. We can also unlearn these experiences and I explain my process in this short video.

Please watch the entire video to understand the methodology along with the practice. It is important to know what is happening in your body and how you can influence it.

For those struggling with stress or anxiety, I often use this Hand Pressing Exercise before I would start to help you develop your meditation practice. Meditation whilst struggling with anxiety or stress may not be the right path for you. Therefore this exercise for 2 - 3 weeks before starting your practice maybe my preferred route.

It is essential to carry out the training at the same time each day (ideally first thing in the morning). You can practice it in sets of three. So do three of the breaths and then stop for a couple of minutes and then practice another set of three.

As someone who recovered from the severe trauma of losing my son, I know the importance of finding some ease within the body. I witnessed Joshua's last breaths and this image aroused PTSD and severe anxiety and depression.

Accessing the Vagus Nerve and Polyvagal Theory was critical in my recovery. It allowed me the capacity to find a little ease whilst in tandem I built a meditation practice and sought therapy.

This video is recorded live with a group who are participating in my online course (www.remotetribe.co.uk) where we dive deep into the neuroscience of stress, mindfulness, and recovery.

Recovery from whatever loss or stress you have suffered is possible. It does require a desire to do the work, and a commitment to show up. Remember to seek help, speak to friends and find a therapist or coach that is right for you.

Hope & Love, Justin.
