Welcome back to KBD Productions TV! In this winter adventure, I head straight into a dangerous Ontario ice storm for another intense stealth camping van life experience. Freezing rain, flooding, brutal winds, and rapidly changing temperatures make this one of the wildest winter stealth camping trips I’ve done yet.
I travel to the beautiful small town of Stayner, Ontario, racing the storm before conditions become too dangerous. Along the way, I explore the town, find a stealthy overnight parking spot, and battle icy roads that feel more like a skating rink than a highway. This is real van life in Canada, unscripted and unpredictable.
Food plays a huge role in this trip. I finally stop at Blue Water Fish & Chips, a legendary local spot that’s been around since the 1960s, and review a massive plate of haddock fish and chips served with fresh-cut fries. Later, I return in the morning to Charlie’s Diner for a classic Eggs Benedict breakfast, followed by a visit to a local favourite, Bakery By The Bay, where I try one of the best homemade cinnamon buns and cookies I’ve ever had.
Back in the van, I settle in for the night listening to the freezing rain, watching The Day After Tomorrow, and staying warm while monitoring the storm outside. From small-town food reviews to extreme winter weather, this video is packed with stealth camping, van life survival, Canadian winter storms, and cozy van vibes.
