What happens when you stealth camp for 24 hours in one of Burlington, Ontario's busiest shopping plazas? In today's adventure, I park my minivan at Roseland Plaza and spend the next 24 hours exploring hidden food gems, local bakeries, unique shops, and seeing if I can make it through the night without getting ticketed or asked to leave!
This adventure starts with an incredible visit to JC's Hot Bagels, where I try one of the biggest breakfast bagels I've ever seen. Later, I discover amazing British treats at British Pride Bakery, enjoy an unforgettable Chicken & Waffles meal from Cuckoo's Chicken, browse an authentic Dutch grocery store full of unique snacks, and finish the trip with one of Burlington's legendary Sammy's Donairs, a local favourite that's been serving customers for decades.
Along the way you'll get plenty of stealth camping tips, beautiful Burlington scenery, behind-the-scenes moments from van life, and honest food reviews from every stop. This series has become one of my favourite ways to explore Ontario while discovering restaurants and local businesses I never knew existed.
