In 2007, a mysterious hacker broke into 1000 email accounts belonging to government agencies around the world. The hacker then took all of the information and posted it online to his website, for everyone to see.
Soon after, 4Chan caught wind of what was happening and anonymous users were logging into government email accounts around the globe that ranged from the Middle Eastern embassies to government officials in Hong Kong to even human rights organizations in China.
