In 2017, Shia LaBeouf was enraged that Donald Trump had become the new president of the United States, so he set up a live stream in New York City, inviting people to protest.
Quickly after it was set up, 4Chan caught wind of the event, and trolls began to hijack the stream, chanting pro-Trump slogans, and messing with the protestors.
Because of this, Shia was forced to move the stream to an unknown location. 4Chan wouldn’t let that stop them, so by looking at the sun’s position, wind patterns, star constellations, and finally cross-referencing flights seen in the background, they were able to pinpoint exactly where it was located.
