Using a 4’ Horseweed Spindle on a knife pinned Tulip Poplar Fireboard. When it came time to place the ember into the bark Tinder bundle, it tried to get away. It rolled off my leaf ember catch. By the time I got it scooped back up, about half of it was gone. Gladly though, there was plenty of dust that had not been incorporated into the ember yet. That dust greatly fortified the remaining half ember and we got the flames easily.
