Opening Theme: “Will the killer VR app be the equivalent of a Tamagotchi?

With my own experience with the cyber puppy from the opening scene in Valve’s “The Lab” where a Dotson tube shape mechanical creature comes to you to play fetch with a virtual stick which you can throw and then with its tractor beam, picks it up and returns it to you wagging its mechanical/cyber tail. You immediately form a bond with the little guy. Since it also follows you into the actual lab, he becomes your a little cyber “pet.”
Now this week ILMxLAB brings out their annual VR promotional app for the Star Wars franchise, which to no one surprise, makes you a technician in, you guessed it and robot repair lab, and who do you have to repair, yep no other than BB-8. The great thing is it is a Steam app, and others have already converted it to the Rift, and don’t forget the newer MSXR headsets also play it.
