My first full-spherical video taken from a drone. I made an adapter base to mount a Theta V spherical camera under the Phantom. Description of the camera mounting base is provided below. Thanks to my trusty copilot, Pat who performed admirably on takeoffs and landings.

Custom mounting base for camera is made from a 3" x 2-1/2” x 1/4” plank of oak. Four 1/8" holes are drilled through the base to match the four screw holes in the Phantom’s underside. A 5/16" hole is drilled through the center of the base to accommodate a screw to mount the camera. The Theta V camera is attached to the mounting base in an upside-down orientation using a standard 1/4" - 20 UNC camera mount screw. The head of the camera mounting screw protrudes into the opening on the underside of the Phantom allowing the oak base to remain flush with the Phantom.
