On Sunday, October 7 at 7:21 p.m. PDT, SpaceX successfully launched the SAOCOM 1A satellite from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The satellite was deployed about 12 minutes after liftoff.
This video shows the Falcon 9 stage 2 (upper left) pulling away as stage 1 (lower right) prepares to return to earth for landing at Vandenberg. The rings around stage 1 are cold (nitrogen) gas thrusters that fire in short bursts and orient stage 1 for its return to earth and landing
