In this lesson, we’ll be discussing the different types of some of the most common detail brushes, how to use them, how to clean and store them, as well as a few brush techniques with paint and matte fluid medium. This is the second video in our September 2017 30 Days of Art!

For these projects, you'll need:
• An assortment of detail brushes. Specifically, we'll be discussing:
• Angles
• Brights
• Filberts
• Rounds
• Short Liners
• Long Liners
• A handful of mini canvases, paper, or cardstock
• Matte Fluid Medium (not required but I promise you'll like it if you try!)
• 2 jars of clean water
• Paper towels
• A mild soap. I prefer liquid castile soap
• At least two colors of paint to experiment with. I just used black and white, but it really doesn't matter
