Abstract art is one of the purest forms of self-expression there is. And to me, that's what art is really all about. If you create something that speaks to you, and that speaks FOR you, is there anything better? I loved painting this free-flowing abstract piece, letting the textures and colors guide each step I took. No planning. No judging. Just getting lost in the process without considering the product.

I’m painting on a 24-24-inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like. Please remember that NONE of the materials I used are required. See what you've got laying around and find ways to incorporate it into your painting. Let your materials, tools, and applications be just as unconventional as your finished painting.
