Some will say, "Why bother with cleaning pellets when you can just use a cheap patch with the rod?"
There are shooters who don't wish to mess with patches and cleaners. They prefer the SIMPLICITY of the pellet. Just run a cleaning pellet dry with slow rod push.
⚠️For a break barrel, a brass or plastic head crowning your rod would be ideal. An outright plastic rod would be great, too.⚠️
