LOCATION: 2323 South Kirkwood Road
AREA/CITY: Houston

According to Lt. Pulido, around 10:20pm, HPD officers responded to a 911 call of a male shot at 2323 South Kirkwood Road.
Upon arrival, they found a male victim in his 20s unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound.
HFD responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
The victim and suspect were acquaintances and got into an argument.
The suspect remained at the scene and waited for police before being taken into custody.
As of the latest update, the suspect had not yet been formally charged, and homicide detectives and crime scene unit were still actively investigating the scene.
Medical examiner removed the body at 3:15am.
