The 2027 Polestar 4 SUV has arrived, but it might be better described as a seriously fast electric wagon. With more cargo room, a real rear window, and up to 544 horsepower, this version addresses some of the biggest compromises of the original Polestar 4.
The new Polestar 4 SUV keeps the sleek proportions of the original while adding a taller and more practical rear section. One of the most important changes is the addition of heated rear glass, complete with a hidden windshield wiper and washer beneath the spoiler.
Practicality improves as well, with up to 655 liters, or 23.1 cubic feet, of cargo capacity measured to the roof with the rear seats in place. Buyers also get standard roof rails, an electrochromic glass roof, new wheels, and additional exterior color choices.
Two powertrain configurations are available. The single motor version delivers 268 horsepower, while the dual motor model produces an impressive 544 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 62 miles per hour in just 3.9 seconds. Both use a 100 kilowatt hour battery with up to 391 miles of Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure range depending on configuration.
