The 2027 Hyundai Santa Fe could be getting a major new look, and these renderings show what the redesigned SUV may look like based on the latest spy photos.
One of the biggest changes could finally address the Santa Fe's controversial rear taillight design.
Camouflaged Hyundai Santa Fe prototypes have revealed clues about an extensive exterior update. At the front, the SUV could adopt vertical lighting elements combined with a horizontal light bar near the hood, while the primary headlights appear to be positioned within the bumper.
The rear could receive an even more noticeable transformation. Instead of the unusually low mounted horizontal taillights found on the current Santa Fe, the restyled model appears likely to adopt a higher lighting arrangement with vertical elements. The familiar upright and boxy overall shape is expected to remain.
Powertrain choices should continue to vary depending on the market, with gasoline, hybrid, and plug in hybrid configurations potentially returning. The turbocharged 2.5 liter model could also receive a conventional automatic transmission in place of the current 8 speed dual clutch transmission.
Hyundai has not officially revealed the updated model, and these images are renderings rather than official production photos. However, reports suggest the restyled 2027 Hyundai Santa Fe could make its debut before the end of 2026.
