The 2026 Audi A6 e-tron is Audi's answer to the electric executive question, and it answers it with distance. Built on the 800V PPE platform and shaped into one of the slipperiest cars Audi has ever made, the A6 e-tron is engineered to go farther on a charge than the rivals it lines up against, then refill fast when it finally stops.
A quick honesty note: the car in this video is the A6 Avant e-tron, the estate that Audi sells in Europe. In the United States you get the closely related A6 Sportback e-tron, which shares the same battery and platform under a sleeker fastback roof. Same story, different roofline.
The headline is range. In its most efficient US form the A6 Sportback e-tron is EPA-rated at up to nearly 400 miles, roughly 95 miles more than a BMW i5 eDrive40, and it starts for a little less money. On an 800V fast charger it can go from 10 to 80 percent in about 21 minutes. Inside, quilted seats and a curved display make it feel special, though the touch-heavy controls take some getting used to.
