In today’s video I’m riding the updated 2025 Honda NC750X DCT, a bike I last rode about three years ago. Honda have given it a few tweaks for 2025 including improved brakes, an upgraded TFT screen, and a smoother DCT gearbox. None of it is headline-grabbing, but they’re worthwhile updates that make the NC750X just that little bit easier to live with.
The NC often gets criticised for not being very exciting, but I think that misses the point. With its brilliant storage, amazing fuel economy, low running costs and friendly power delivery, this is one of the most practical bikes you can buy. It won’t win many races, but for real-world riding it’s more than powerful enough. In fact I reckon it’s practically perfect… the kind of bike Mary Poppins might ride.
