I haven't exactly been kind to the BMW R1300GS Adventure.
Ever since it was launched, I've been very vocal about one thing... I really don't like the way it looks. In fact, I've described it as one of the ugliest motorcycles on sale today.
But was I being unfair?
In this review I finally get to ride the new R1300GS Adventure to find out whether my criticism was justified. I take it out on the road, examine the styling and, most importantly, discover what it's actually like to ride.
The result genuinely surprised me.
While I still can't warm to the styling, the riding experience is simply superb. The engine, handling, comfort and refinement combine to make this the best GS I've ridden so far.
So... was I wrong?
