You can dramatically change the read of your character using two simple iris tricks. First, adjust the limbal ring (the outer edge of the iris): keeping it sharp suggests a young character, while softening and fading it implies an older character. Second, use color saturation to dictate the art style: highly saturated colors will make the eye look heavily stylized, whereas desaturated tones will place the character in a more realistic world. #CharacterArt #GameDev #3DCharacter
