A police body camera captured the moments a driver and passenger were saved from a car stuck in flooded waters last week.

Video shows an officer running through the waters to the car and utilizing an emergency car window breaking tool to smash open the driver’s side window.

The officer was able to safely get the passenger side door open, and help its passengers out of the car, the video shows.

Police reminded people to never drive through flooded roadways and to be careful underneath bridges and overpass areas.
