BREAKING: Two police officers were shot and a suspect was killed after a police pursuit that began in Hartford and ended in Newington late Friday night.

Hartford and Rocky Hill police say a Hartford officer and a Rocky Hill officer were shot during an exchange of gunfire after the suspect’s vehicle was stopped. Both officers are hospitalized in stable condition.

The suspect was also shot and pronounced dead at the scene.
