Luan Nguyen has been in the fitness industry for over 2 decades. He currently owns and operates a gym in Birmingham, AL, Wheelhouse Academy. Prior to Wheelhouse, Luan has served many different roles in the industry - including Programming Director for a fitness franchise, consultant to gyms all over the United States, and Competition Director to some of the largest fitness competitions in the southeast.

205 Throwdown is functional fitness competition in Birmingham, AL founded by Micah Shoemaker. This year's competition will host teams of 4 at Bill Harris Arena August 12, 2023.
