Matchbox Parasites the Die Cast version of Transformers 1985

In 1985, evil beings from Halley’s Comet invaded Earth! Their plan? Infect ordinary cars and trucks… and take over the planet. Not since the comet’s last pass 76 years earlier had humanity faced such danger.

These weren’t just any toys. Matchbox Parasites were created by California R&D and the late designer Stephen Lee, the same team behind Roadblasters and alien designs for the Micronauts. Lee’s bold color schemes, weapon-loaded limbs, and chrome parts gave these figures serious sci-fi flair.

Each “Parasite” disguised itself as a die-cast vehicle, but underneath the shell was a fully armed alien ready for battle, perfectly sized to mix with your 3¾-inch action figures.
