An excellent tuner that lives up to its claims of making an otherwise unlistenable station listenable. The "Asymmetrical Charge Coupled FM Detector" is just a fancy way of saying no static, hiss, distortion, or multipath interference. I am still amazed with how this tuner performs. The audio is dead-silent with no background hiss, even when listening to a very weak, distant station. Even though it does not have AM Stereo/CQUAM abilities, (unless I were to install a CQUAM chip in it) the AM sound is very wideband and does well getting rid of the "hash" created by HD Radio stations on the AM band. Well worth the money I paid for this unit!
