In this journal entry for #AMayGA2026 I'm looking at the first chess program that came out for the Amiga in 1986. Chessmaster 2000 was a highly rated program that one some competitions. I'll be pitting it against an equally highly rated Psion Chess program. I'll try to get as close to a fair comparison as possible considering my Sinclair QL is slower (about half as fast) as my Amiga 600. Who'll come out on top...come see!
