My first rental kart race after the lockdown. I really needed to have some fun.. The format of the race was 10 minutes of qualifying followed by 15 minutes of race. My three friends ahead were 3-4 tenths quicker than me, but from start to finish I had a very enjoyable and close battle with my friends who qualified in 4th and 6th position. We were all on the same pace but they were very quick on the fast part of the track while I was able to reduce or increase the gap from them thanks to late-braking and being a bit faster in the two slow chicanes (that's why I crashed and repeatedly touched my friend in front in that slow points).

The race was held at a indoor kart structure, called Kart & Go, which is located near the city of Como in Italy. A lovely feature of this venue is that the track can be modified into 6 different layouts, called with names that refer to tracks of the F1 World Championship. They generally change the configuration once a month, so you never get tired of driving there during the year. The only corners you'll always find unchanged with each layout are the last one (right-U turn before the start/finish line) and the fast left-right at 0:34. The one you see in this video is called Spa-Francorchamps.
