Having missed the branchline gala a week before, I was happy to hear that the SVR would be laying on both Great Western tank engines for the standard weekend service. Usually scenes like this are kept for galas and special events, so it was a nice surprise for all concerned. I even managed grab a ride on the final return trip on the afternoon. Scenes are captured at Highley, Eardington Halt, Eardington Bank and then coming away from Bewdley with an emergency Permanent way check on some reported rough riding. The Severn Valley's orange army were kind enough to offer there apologies for getting in the way, no apologies were necessary as the infrastructure comes first !
