Ingrid Crickmore | 10-loop Spiral Braid, Lace bend rounde of X bowes @loopbraider | Uploaded October 2011 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
My extrapolation from the medieval Spiral braid of 8 loops/ lace bend rounde of viii bowes. 5 loops on each hand. Thumbs and little fingers exchange loops.
Beginning and end also show my method for setting in-progress loops down on a comb holder.
For slo-mo, see my videos on the 4-, 6-, and 8-loop versions of this braid. (also left-handed videos for these)

For the photo-tutorial explaining more about these spiral braids (like how to start them with no loose ends), join the Braids and Bands yahoo discussion group--it's in their files section under tutorials.
