Today we're talking about 10 things NOT to do on a film set. When your new to being on a film set you need to be aware of some unspoken film set etiquette rules. It's easy to break the rules of film production when your just starting out, so if you want to be called back for the next shoot day, check out our list of what not to do on a film set.

Not all rules on a film set are obvious. Things like texting on set or not dressing appropriately can land you in hot water early in your production career. Even on the most low-budget sets, acting like a professional and taking your job seriously will likely land you more on set opportunities.

The most important thing you can do on a film set is show up early and do your job. Don't bother other departments while they're working. Stick to your role, and wait for the action. In the world of filmmaking, being early to a set is being on time, and being on time is late. So get to location early and be ready to work!
