Canon 16-35mm Footage! We check out the grand opening of St. Pete Pier in St. Petersburg, Florida. We took our trusty Canon EOS R & Canon 16-35mm f/4 IS lens for some cinematic 60p slow motion footage. All video is filmed handheld using Image Stabilization on the 16-35mm Canon lens.
The redesigned St Petersburg Pier opened July 6, 2020, and we wanted to capture the new design. It's a really impressive structure with multiple restaurants, bars, and even a beach.

St Petersburg Florida has been waiting almost 7 years, and we're excited to have the new Pier finally open. We wanted to film wide and full frame, and hopefully the Canon 16 35 f4 video test was able to capture some of the Pier's unique design. This may be one of the best Tampa Bay attractions in the area now.
