Today we are checking out the demo for a terrifying new psychological horror game called MORTU. I found this one on Steam, and it immediately grabbed my attention with its dark, oppressive atmosphere and seriously unsettling character designs.
MORTU is a first-person thriller that follows the story of Tom, a man completely consumed by guilt and the trauma of his past. Instead of relying on cheap jump scares, this game acts as a tense walking simulator that builds pure psychological dread the deeper you go into his nightmare. From the mysterious figure hiding under the sheet to the incredibly creepy button-eyed doll tracking our every move, the environment feels incredibly hostile.
This full demo perfectly showcases the minimalist gameplay and realistic graphics that make this indie horror experience stand out. We spend these ten minutes exploring the haunting locations, trying to piece together the narrative, and just trying to survive the tension.
