There is nothing quite as unsettling as being totally alone in a massive, dead shopping mall. But as we find out pretty fast in this one, we definitely aren't alone. Today we are checking out the demo for Aisle of Shadows, a new first-person psychological horror game that leans incredibly hard into the liminal space vibe.
What I really appreciate about this game is that it doesn't rely on cheap jump scares to get you. It builds pure tension through atmospheric sound design, distorted memories, and reality-bending corridors that change when you aren't looking. The whole experience just messes with your head and creates this constant feeling of paranoia.
