I stumbled across this indie horror game called Neighborhood Nightmares and the atmosphere is completely unmatched. It is a terrifying experience where you explore a strangely familiar but entirely empty neighborhood in the dead of night. The lighting is incredibly tense, with just these flickering, dim street lights guiding the way down the road, which makes the dread almost unbearable.
The most deeply unsettling part of this playthrough is the shadow people. They have absolutely no facial features, and they just stand out on the porches of these houses watching you walk by.
