1 lesson from watching the marathon world record holder
At the 31 km mark, Kelvin Kiptum ended up taking off his watch and ran one of the fastest 10km splits in marathon history.
He clocked a 28:05.
That is a 4:31 min/mile pace. (2:49 min/km).
He was no longer looking at the pace and pushed forward to make history.
There are plenty of situations where we get too caught up in the numbers, that we neglect how we feel when we run.
Data can help guide you, but do not let it disconnect you.
You might realize that you are more capable than you think.
