Ahh, the most hated area of the entire game, or at least it used to be... Shrine of Amana is filled with lots of water to trudge through whilst being pelted by magic spells from mages afar.
I found this area to be easier than it used to be, actually, but its not too difficult either way; a bow and some poison arrows will go a long way towards making your life easier here, especially in the second area.

The Northern area of the mine can be accessed with the key I got from the room that was just occupied by the mysterious noises. Theres a workshop and some explosives handy, which is just my luck, since the path further into the mine is blocked by a cave-in. Not so lucky for me, though, that blasted dog followed me to the area.
