How to Disassemble, Inspect, Clean & Reassemble your Passenger Seat Belt Receiver Assembly, for Seat Belts that won't lock.
Disclaimer: Seat Belt Systems can be deadly if not working properly, or if deployed while working on them. I'm NOT a Certified Toyota or Seat Belt / SRS Technician. This is how I got mine to work. Your are responsible to do your own research to verify you are following known Safety Procedures and Practices. Your Safety is your responsibility.
Tools. Consumables & Chemicals I used;
- Leather Gloves.
- 3/16" Blade Screwdriver.
- 1/8" Blade Screwdriver.
- T-10 Scredriver.
- 5" Forceps.
- Nylon Tooth Brush.
- Small Plastic Lid for holding parts.
- Paper Towels.
- 90% Isopropyl Alcohol.
- Fresh water from the sink to rinse cleaned parts.
